This presentation combines science, technology, economics, and sociology to educate organizers about current and future trends that impact the organizing industry. By locating the organizer in the wider perspective of societal trends, the organizer as practioner will understand new skills they may need to learn. The organizer/business owner will understand how to better position their company for profitable organizing services in the future. Participants will learn the mega trends that are shaping the organizing industry; the new opportunities for organizers these trends create; the skill of detecting trends that keep your company out in front of the curve; and a forecast of future models of organizing. Judith Kolberg, from Levittown, is a SUNY graduate. Formerly a paid political activist, she founded FileHeads in 1989. A former president of NAPO-Georgia, Kolberg received the Founders' Award in 1996. She formed the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization in 1991. Conquering Chronic Disorganization was published in 1998 by Squall Press, a publishing company Kolberg owns. ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life followed. Inspired by the events of September 11, Kolberg published Organized for Disaster. The former Director of Professional Development for NAPO, Kolberg is a professional organizer, author, and public speaker. She resides in Atlanta. Additional InformationConference at a Glance
