Research Update CD

Social science research continues to refine factors associated with the psychological and social outcomes of children and adolescents following separation and divorce.This update will focus on psychological adjustment and academic achievement in relation to parenting, conflict and father involvement, childrens views of contacts, and post-divorce parent-child relationships. Taken together with older studies, the research provides guidance to practitioners working with parents in private and court settings and to decision-makers determining child and adolescent living arrangements in contested cases.
