Organizing with Spirit A Roundtable Discussion MP3 Instant Download

Organizing flows as an organic process from ourselves and our clients, and when we bring our awareness to the energy of this flow of change we begin to realize that we are Organizing with Spirit. Based on the overwhelming response to last year's presentation of "Organizing as a Spiritual Practice," this year Erin Elizabeth Wells will open the floor and nurture the budding conversations about spirituality and organizing. This session will be a structured roundtable discussion that will offer participants a chance to share together their stories and experiences as well as a chance to brainstorm further ideas about how we can support and encourage the experience of spirituality and deeper meaning within the organizing process in a fulfilling and inclusive way. Together we will explore the lessons of activity, stillness, chaos, order, and balance and how they can teach us more about ourselves and our clients. Erin Elizabeth Wells has a masters of divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School with a focus on interfaith ministry. She centered her studies at Harvard on professional organizing as a form of ministry and received internship credit for working as an organizer through her business Living Peace. She has recently become a member of the NAPO-New England Board of Directors and hopes to open up many new avenues for professional development for her organizing colleagues.
