Impasse is the single most challenging time in the Collaborative process. It is inevitable that difficulties will occur, and most clients will become stuck. This can be extremely frustrating and challenging. Recognizing and understanding the core psychological struggles is a necessary component for effectively dealing with impasse. It is also important to learn to identify when process issues need attention in order to move forward with content issues. This workshop will unravel the complexities of impasse and provide specific interventions and strategies that will enable the parties to navigate the impasse.
