This workshop will focus on providing a basic understanding of how to manage an organizing project, an essential component to the certification content outline. The session will initially discuss the role of the project manager and the project management cycle. Participant's will learn the basics of project management including; developing an action plan, estimating costs/ budget, identifying resources, implementing the action plan and follow-up and maintenance. Methods and techniques will be introduced on how to effectively facilitate change and "transfer of skills" through communication techniques, motivation strategies and behavior modification. Concluding the session, the presenter will engage the audience with questions.
