This workshop will give attendees a better understanding of the client who lives with depression, resources for
further information, and an opportunity to learn from the experience of colleagues. Learn what it is like to live
with this biological illness and, from the client's perspective, what attitudes, words, and techniques are helpful and which may even be harmful. Gain new awareness of what the organizer can and cannot do for this client.
Kit Anderson has been identifying problems and providing organizing solutions for individuals, businesses, and
nonprofits for 30 years. Through Anderson Organizing Systems she offers private consultations and workshops on organizing time, papers, and personal finances. She is the author of Double Strength Organizing and co-author
of File Anything in Your Home...And Find It Again! She has studied depression with NAMI and DMDA to better
understand the illness of depression in clients and in a family member.
