The IACP goal is to change the way disputes are resolved worldwide. This includes civil practice areas such as business, employment, probate, and medical error. In this interactive workshop, participants will develop an envisioned future of civil collaborative law and take stock of the present reality. They will then identify the drivers moving dispute resolution toward collaborative law and the challenges to be overcome to reach the envisioned future. Program goals include: (a) developing a clear case for collaborative law; (b) preparing strategies to meet the inevitable resistance and setbacks; and (c) developing an action plan to accelerate collaborative practice in civil dispute resolution.
