As a senior move manager, you will likely encounter the compulsive hoarding and/or chronically disorganized client at times.Will you be prepared? NSGCD President, Katherine (Kit) Anderson, will explore compulsive hoarding, including diagnostic criteria, demographics, prevalence, behavioral, emotional and belief/meaning of the problem. Identify characteristics of compulsive hoarding and chronic disorganization. Identify other disorders related to hoarding and chronic disorganization. Explore challenges encountered in working with older adults with these behaviors. Learn when and how to make a referral to a chronic disorganization specialist, related professional and/or collaborative team of professionals. Faculty: Katherine D.
