Chronic Disorganization Dealing With the Tough Issues CD

Chronically disorganized clients may present special challenges to the professional organizer not only in helping clients to get organized but also in our client-professional relationships. These challenges can be confusing and upsetting even to the experienced organizer. In this panel/discussion, we will consider issues relating to client-professional boundaries, communication, backsliding, emotional outbursts, safety, attendance, and financial transactions. Short individual presentations by National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD) panel members will be followed by a discussion period in which participants will be invited to question panelists and share their own experiences in meeting these challenges.
