Paula Margulies is the owner of Paula Margulies Communications, a public relations firm for authors and artists. She has received numerous awards for her short stories, essays, and novels, including her first novel, Coyote Heart, and her novel-in-progress, Favorite Daughter. She has specialized for over 20 years in communications, marketing, and public relations for all types of products and services. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned her master's degree in language arts and literature, she also holds degrees in marketing communications and education. She has served as the marketing and publicity director for both large companies and small businesses and is an instructor in business communications and public relations at community colleges throughout Southern California.
