Loretta Barrett is a literary agent and president of Loretta Barrett Books, Inc. in New York. She founded the agency in 1990. Prior to opening her own agency, she was editor-in-chief of Anchor Books and vice president and executive editor at Doubleday. She is a member of AAR, and has representation in every major foreign market.
